Questions

Good to know.

Can I learn plumbing online?

Yes. You read the theory, watch practical videos and test yourself with quizzes, then practise real jobs at home.

Can I start with no experience?

Yes. You start with the basics: how water moves around a home, the tools you need and working safely.

How long does it take to learn plumbing?

There is at least 6 months of material. Many students do their first small job within 1 month.

Can I fix my own taps, toilet and radiators?

Yes, most everyday jobs. The course shows you taps, toilets, radiators, leaks and pipework step by step.

How much does the course cost?

£199 is one payment for lifetime access. £29/month gives access while your plan is active. Both include everything.

Can I cancel the £29 monthly plan?

Yes. You can cancel at any time.

What help do I get?

Both plans include our private Telegram group with real plumbing teachers. You can send photos.

What happens after I pay?

Once your payment is confirmed, your account is ready and you start straight away.

Is gas or boiler work included?

No. This course is plumbing only. Gas work must always be done by a Gas Safe engineer.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. Pass the final exam and download your Plumbers University certificate with your name, score and date. It is a course certificate, not an official NVQ or City & Guilds qualification.

Do I need a plumbing qualification to work in the UK?

No. In the UK you don't need a Level 1, 2 or 3 plumbing qualification to do plumbing work. Gas is different: it must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Electrical work has its own rules too. Some jobs, like unvented hot water cylinders, need extra training, and you must follow UK water rules — the course teaches you them.
